This place was wonderful, the whole place is super clean the beds were very comfy it was very homey. The owners/managers were amazing and friendly, we will stay here every time!!!
All around wonderful and family friendly! Staff was so welcoming, rooms were super clean. The air conditioner worked perfectly, and the plug in the tub actually worked so I could give my daughter a bath (lots of hotels have broken ones so only the shower works). Comfortable, clean beds and wifi connected to the TV with no issue. 10/10, would stay again!

This is a wonderful place to stay! The owners, Mary and Mike, are attentive and so pleasant. Members of my family stayed here for Thanksgiving.The rooms were clean and quiet, the beds comfortable - everything we needed for a comfortable stay. And at a good price! The remodeling they’ve done is beautiful and very welcoming! I highly recommend the Hiawatha Fairbridge!
Mary and her husband are the sweetest! The room was beautiful and very spacious. Everything has been newly remodeled and the customer service is top notch! Room was clean, bed was so comfortable and love the big fridge! We were in town for a wedding and I am so glad we gave this family owned hotel a chance and supported local residents. We will def be back when back in town visiting family! Kudos to Mary and her husband for turning this old rundown hotel into a gem!!
My wife and I were presently surprised with the hotel. It had to have been redone in the past year or two. The hallways were wide and bright. The rooms were nice size and well maintained. The service was great and the room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels, etc. The internet was strong and worked well. I would stay here again. However we would like to see the hotel offer some kind of breakfast.
I visited Hiawatha Kansas, on the 25th of September to attend a funeral. I had never hear of Hiawatha or FairBridge Inn Express to be honest. It was close to where the funeral was to be held so I took a chance. When I pulled up it didn't have curbside appeal, I was concerned. However, upon entry I was greeted by Mary and my experience began! Talk about small town hospitality! This hotel was quiet clean and far exceeded my expectations. The furniture was a bit dated to be honest, but the cleanliness was impeccable, my room was quiet and secluded. I would highly recommend this hotel to the weary traveler looking for a peaceful night's sleep. There aren't a lot of amenities, but it's a very small town. Mary's the absolute best hostess!
Mary and her husband are so kind and my husband and I loved our room! Mary made sure we had everything we needed and were very accommodating. We even had nice reclining leather seats in our room and the shower was so relaxing. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for a cozy getaway or a quick trip. Will definitely be staying here again!!
